Noctally

Support

No account or test login is required. You can explore the clearly marked Sample Night in the app without granting microphone access.

Start a night

  1. Place your iPhone on a stable nightstand with its microphone uncovered. Never place it under a pillow.
  2. Disconnect headphones and obtain consent from anyone who may be recorded.
  3. Open Tonight, tap Start Recording, then lock the screen. Keep the iPhone connected to power for long sessions.
  4. In the morning, return to Noctally and tap Stop & Review.

Calls, alarms, audio-route changes, a force quit, low storage or another app using the microphone can interrupt a session. Noctally shows known interruptions in Recording Coverage instead of hiding them. The record audio-session mode may stop music or white-noise playback from other apps.

Review a saved moment

Tap a moment to listen. Automatic labels are estimates: choose Snore, Sleep talk or Other sound to correct one, or delete its local clip. Relative loudness compares recordings on the same iPhone; it is not a calibrated decibel measurement.

Privacy and deletion

Audio and analysis stay in Noctally's app container. Open a night to delete a clip or night, or use Settings → Delete All Nights. Read the full Noctally Privacy Policy.

Purchases

The free tier includes seven complete nights. Noctally Pro adds unlimited history, comparisons and export. Apple handles monthly, annual and lifetime purchases directly. Use Settings → Noctally Pro → Restore Purchases after reinstalling or changing devices. Manage a subscription in your Apple Account settings.

General-wellness use

Noctally is not a medical device and does not detect sleep apnea or diagnose a condition. If you are concerned about sleep or breathing, contact a qualified healthcare professional.
