Privacy policy
VialFlow is published by Dalila Oussama. This policy applies only to VialFlow. Contact support@myzalife.com with a privacy question or request.
The short version
- No account, advertising, tracking or analytics SDK.
- Your tank names, kit definitions, readings and history stay in the app's local storage.
- We do not receive your aquarium records or upload them to a developer server.
- Apple handles purchases. CSV data leaves the app only when you choose to export and share it.
Information stored on your device
VialFlow stores tank names and notes; user-defined kit names, instructions and stage durations; active-session timing and progress; completed-session dates, tank and kit snapshots, optional readings, units and notes. These records are stored as a local JSON file in the app's private container. We cannot access this information.
You control the available delete actions in the app. Deleting VialFlow removes its local app data. Your Apple device-backup settings may include app data in a device or iCloud backup controlled by you and Apple. VialFlow itself provides no cloud sync or developer backup.
Optional notifications and timing
VialFlow requests notification permission only when you choose Notify me. It schedules local stage-completion notifications on your device, without a push-notification server. You can disable permission in your device's Settings. Depending on your notification settings, a stage label may appear on your lock screen.
The app uses device system uptime to keep a foreground countdown accurate. That timing information stays on your device and is not used to identify or track you. A saved date-based deadline restores timing when the app returns or reopens.
Exports
CSV records leave VialFlow only after you open Apple's share sheet and choose a destination. Review the file before sharing. The destination's privacy policy and your sharing choices apply to the exported copy.
Purchases
VialFlow uses Apple's StoreKit directly, with no third-party purchase service. Apple processes payment and gives the app verified purchase information so it can unlock Pro and restore your access. We do not receive payment-card details. Apple's own processing is described in its privacy policy.
Support messages and diagnostics
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and anything you intentionally attach. We use this information to respond to your request and keep it only as long as reasonably needed for support or a legal obligation. Do not send private information you do not want us to receive.
If you separately choose to share analytics with app developers in your Apple device settings, Apple may provide crash or diagnostic reports. VialFlow contains no third-party crash-reporting SDK and sends no analytics to a developer server.
This website
These VialFlow pages contain no analytics scripts, tracking pixels or contact forms. They are served through Netlify, which processes ordinary request information such as your IP address and browser information to deliver and secure the website. This website hosting is separate from the app: VialFlow does not send aquarium records to this site. Emailing support opens your chosen email service.
Permissions and children
VialFlow does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone or health records. Notification permission is optional. The app is intended for aquarium recordkeeping, rather than collecting personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
Security and changes
VialFlow relies on your device's app isolation, security settings and Apple-managed storage protection. No storage system is completely secure. If this policy changes, its effective date will be updated.
