Support
No account or sign-in is required. Test sessions, tank names and kit definitions stay on your device.
Start your first test
- Open Test and add a tank.
- Open Kits and create a kit. Give each stage a label and a duration using your manufacturer's instructions. A kit supports 1–20 stages, each from 1 second to 24 hours.
- Return to Test, choose your tank and kit, and start the session.
- Wait for a stage to finish, then confirm the next stage yourself. VialFlow does not automatically advance or interpret a result.
- Optionally record a nonnegative numeric reading or a written result, such as “below detection,” with its parameter and unit. Complete the session to save it in History.
Timers and notifications
You can pause and resume an active stage. Returning from the background or reopening the app restores the saved session. Tap Notify me during a session to request an optional local alert; notification permission is never required to use the timer. You can change permission in iOS Settings → Notifications → VialFlow.
Alerts depend on your device settings, Focus mode and system delivery. Check the app directly when timing matters. If a notification is denied or unavailable, the on-screen timer continues to work.
History and CSV export
Open History to review completed sessions. Use Export CSV to open Apple's share sheet and choose a destination. Exported files are copies: removing a session later does not remove a copy you already shared. Blank readings remain blank; they are not converted to zero.
Free access and Pro
Free access includes one tank, three saved kits, unlimited session history and CSV export. VialFlow Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks additional tanks and kits. There is no subscription or trial. The current local price is shown by Apple before purchase.
Use Settings → VialFlow Pro → Restore Purchases after reinstalling or changing devices. Use the Apple Account that originally purchased Pro. Purchase and restore require access to Apple's services. If a purchase is pending, wait for Apple's approval; cancelling a purchase leaves free access available.
Restoring Pro restores purchase access, not your local tank or session data. If access is revoked, previously saved data remains available; adding beyond the free limits requires Pro again.
Local data and troubleshooting
You can remove saved items using the app's available delete controls. Deleting VialFlow removes its local app data. Your device-backup settings may include app data in an Apple-managed backup. There is no developer account, server backup or built-in cloud sync.
If the app reports that saved data cannot be read, it preserves the original file and prevents further writes. Contact support before reinstalling if you need to preserve that data.
Use your kit instructions
VialFlow organizes timing and records. It does not provide chemical handling, aquarium dosing, diagnosis or safe-range advice. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and consult a qualified aquarium professional when needed.
